• After unifying its hypermarkets’ security systems using the Oasis solution from DigiSys, the Auchan Group needed to adapt to the arrival of high-resolution technology in its video surveillance system. They also wanted to capitalize on the physical investments it had made and preserve the expediency of the managers who had learned to use the tool.

• Melissa was rolled out to Auchan’s hypermarkets. As a result, the capacity of each box was increased exponentially. This involved the integration of up to 8 megapixels per camera, easy installation thanks to PoE, the integration of image analysis, “fish eye” or 360° angles and number plate recognition, and the implementation of remote protection and radio transmissions.

• In the interest of satisfying a demanding clientele looking for peace of mind, the hotel needed to implement the best safety and security tools. Performance, effectiveness, stability, discretion and perfect integration with brilliant architecture were the required principles for this type of site.

• The Negresco chose the Command video protection supervisor from our partner March Networks. They were won over by the extraordinary performance of its video compression, the flexibility of the supervisory tool and its upgradability.

DigiSys’ expertise with this solution and the maintenance resources utilized made it possible to upgrade and ensure the longevity of this all-IP video protection architecture so as to achieve the necessary standards for an establishment of this kind.

• Project: management had a twofold objective: to eliminate the theft of aggregates and optimize the company’s operations thanks to accurate, even predictive tracking of its inventory.

• DigiSys proposed a VSC/VisioWave backbone to establish a lasting, scaled structure at Lafarge’s head offices, that could serve as a focal point for all its depots, no matter how the company might evolve.
  The immediate results yielded a return on investment in less than one year. The depot manager’s security also enjoyed a healthy boost.

• The buildings and premises forming the Renault Group’s headquarters are scattered throughout the west of Paris. This historical situation entails operating constraints, particularly for the security and monitoring teams. As a result, the systems had to be grouped together in different central command stations.

• DigiSys was chosen for its sophisticated technical solution, using available network speeds while guaranteeing the flawless pooling of resources between office automation software and audio/video data feeds.

• Use of a dedicated fibre optics Ethernet network, reuse of the majority of existing cameras and towers, transmission of real-time videos and recordings to Renault HQ via a web server which is accessible from any workstation.

• A series of redundant fibre optics and a special transcoding box enabled maximum data retrieval from the installed video equipment, developed by the DigiSys R&D Department, to the complete satisfaction of the client.

• The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) wanted to implement perimeter detection by thermal imaging cameras and interfacing of video surveillance with its other security applications to protect the 5,000 employees at a particularly sensitive site.

• The DigiSys Video Security Center supervisor has continued to evolve in order to remain aligned with market demand. Utilizing VOS (Video Operating System from UTC Fire & Security), Video Security Centre offers the operators the latest innovations on the market while remaining flexible to enable the ongoing operation of a system we took over nearly 10 years ago. Today, it is one of the most comprehensive sites in terms of the technologies in place: the Thomson towers installed in the 1980s now cohabitate with the latest FLIR cameras, that are analysed by FoxStream servers.

• Such a site has materials of great value. To that end, it must protect itself from any intruders, without however disrupting its incoming and outgoing goods. An ageing video protection system was in place, but it was no longer able to satisfy the company’s new needs.

• An effective, ergonomic long-term video protection system! It also had to be able to utilize the existing set-up on a computer network which was not necessarily always optimized. Command, the VMS from our partner March Networks, appeared to us to be the right product to create a link between the system in place (which would gradually be replaced) while covering the new, immediate needs: high-definition images, network performance and video storage, ergonomic use, video analysis, etc.

• Installed in 2007, supervision by DigiSys’ Video Security Center continues to operate at the site. The building extensions and the interfacing of video surveillance with the group’s other safety and security applications mean that DigiSys assists contractors so they can successfully complete their projects.
